Created by the Reina Sofía School of Music in 1995, the Albéniz de Prosegur Quartet has been directed by professors Rainer Schmidt and Alastair Tait and is currently supervised by Heime Müller. He has received from the hands of Her Majesty Queen Sofía the most outstanding String Group Diploma of its category in four academic years. The quartet has performed in places such as the Casa de la Moneda, the Carlos de Amberes Foundation, the Prado Museum, the Palacio de Congresos y Convenciones de Madrid, the Real Sitio de la Granja de San Ildefonso, the National Museum of Roman Art in Mérida and the Teatro Real (Young Talent cycle Banco Sabadell Foundation). In 1998 he published the CD Concierto Beca Cortefiel and in 2000 he participated in the live recording of the CD Música para Federico Sopeña (Soloistas del Siglo XXI cycle, integrated into the Classic Radio Concerts).
